Prof. Raju Vir
Prof. Vir brings with him strategic and operational perspectives to ensure
organizational effectiveness and has used his domain knowledge and expertise
in contributing to various organizations, while improving the accountability
of the function by strategising Human Resource as a major contributor to the
overall business growth. |

- Raju Vir was the Vice President – Human Resources, Agro Tech Foods Limited (ConAgra – India), from 1999 to 2002. His contribution towards the growth of the Company stemmed from his expertise in managing change and creating an impact on the direction of change.
- Prior to his appointment at Agro Tech Foods Limited, Raju Vir was Director-HRD and on the board of one of Turner Morrison group of companies, New Delhi, where he invested five years in strategy formulation for the effective development of HR
- He also has experience in Ballarpur Industries Limited where he was Assistant GM – Management Development (Head of Training), DLF Universal Limited where he was head of HR and DCM Limited as an Assistant Manager – Personnel
- During the expanse of his career, Raju Vir conducted several need based workshops, administered competency based HR interventions and implemented Human Capital Accounting to enhance the effectiveness of the HR function. He has also effectively managed various complex Industrial Relations problems
- To enrich his knowledge and expertise in a wide array of HR functions, Raju Vir has been actively involved with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as Convener- People Development and Corporate Governance Panel, State Counsel Member of CII, Andhra Pradesh and Core Committee Member, on HR, as Chairman of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) and is an active member of National Grid Network.
- He is a certified Organizational Development Expert by NTL, USA. He has also been conferred Professional Membership of NTL, USA. He has also been certified by GRID, USA to conduct various interventions
Academically inclined, he is a visiting faculty for Human Resource Development and Managerial Communication Programmes at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (since 1990), XLRI, Jamshedpur and at various institutes of repute in India. Presently he is associated with FORE School of Management as Professor in the OB & HR area and consults with various organizations on “Organization Development”.
Raju Vir holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Bachelor of Law from Delhi University and Bachelor of Science, Meerut University. He is also a Qualified Lead Assessor.
He is a trained process worker by ISISD & ISTD. He is married with two kids and takes a keen interest in swimming and classical Indian music.
